The Square Root concept was born from a small 4x4m store front in

Diep River & catered for the urban commuter travelling the south peninsula

to the suburbs & town with their x4 Coffee offerings, x4 Sandwiches, x4

Salads & x4 Indulgent’s.

The first Square Root was established in 2019 by a team of

creatives from the food & beverage packaging industry, who occupied a

shared workspace with industry leaders all of whom were motivated by their love

for proper coffee & local authentic foods.

  In October 2023 Square

Root Coffee embarked on a thrilling new chapter when it welcomed a fresh &

passionate owner into its embrace. This change marked the beginning of an

exciting new transformation meant to breathe new life into this beloved

establishment. While remain motivated to offer the very best coffee made by the

very best, seasoned baristas, our journey ahead will now be inspired by the

very communities in which we operate
